Subject: [datadigest] December PPI charts and tables; 1/19 Data DIGest: McGraw-Hill, Reed, Beige Book, AIA differ on construction; producer prices diverge

Included along with today's Data DIGest are charts and tables that track the producer price indexes (PPIs) for a variety of construction inputs and segments compared to the consumer price index (CPI). The charts show the cumulative increases since December 2003, when construction materials costs began to accelerate. The tables show annual increases for the 12 months ending in December 2001-2006, 1-, 3- and 12-month increases through December 2007, and the cumulative change for December 2003-December 2007.
